Weʼre a small, early-stage Ann Arbor network security startup looking for great hackers, mobile developers, and UI/UX designers who are interested in internships or full-time employment at a fun, fast-moving startup.

Scio Security is committed to solving the worldʼs most disruptive Internet security challenges. Weʼre a technology-driven company that values unique perspectives to hard problems, particularly in the area of usable security (robust protocols adapted to user behavior, mobile platforms, etc.).

You might have recognized our work in OpenBSD, the free, secure BSD Unix distribution; OpenSSH, the secure remote login software shipping with every free and commercial operating system (except Windows!); Arbor Networks, the leading global infrastructure security provider deployed at every major telecom and ISP; Zattoo, Europeʼs premier live Internet television provider; or at countless hacker & security conferences worldwide.

This is an opportunity to join a small team thatʼs already built great technology and is excited to secure the Internet against a new breed of organized crime. Our first customers are in some of the most demanding technical environments in banking and healthcare. The work is challenging and it should come as no surprise that we work hard and we're looking for someone who will be equally dedicated to the job.

As much as deep technical skills are critical for us, the most successful working relationships weʼve had over the past few months have been with folks who are not only incredibly professional and focused, but also fun and unassuming. If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
