Project: FastCar2 Development
FastCar is an engineering web application which deals with the concept Engineering Bill of Material, Financial Management, Parts Development Planning, Live Reporting for engineers.

Responsibilities
• Develop front-end and back-end features of the large scale web application
• Make technical and architectural decisions with respect to security, quality and performance
• Promote excellent software design and quality
• Work side-by-side with other engineers, business customers and project managers
• Take initiative and drive new innovative ideas to solve design, quality, process and other hard problems
• Pass your knowledge to other team members
• Quickly learn new skills

Skills and Experience
• "Get it done" attitude
• Superior knowledge of Java and OOP
• Excellent understanding of Java Web technologies and application servers
• Broad and deep knowledge of several Java frameworks and tools, such as Spring, Struts, JSF, etc.
• Good knowledge of front end technologies like CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON
• Knowledge of tools and frameworks, e.g. for unit test, automated build, logging, etc.
• Extensive experience with RDBMS - data modelling, SQL, ORM frameworks
• Experience with modern development methodologies, such as Agile
• Good understanding of source control systems and best practices

Preferred technologies
• Application Server: WebSphere
• RDBMS: DB2
• Persistence framework: Hibernate
• Front end framework: Spring, GWT
• Development tool: Eclipse
• We expect you to recommend additional or alternative technologies/methodologies

Preferred Skills/Background
• Education in Computer Science or related field
• Good knowledge and experience with multiple programming languages and technologies (.NET, C/C++, Perl, PHP, etc.)
• DB2 Stored procedures
